Stanisław Kasiewicz, PhD, Warsaw School of Economics
Graduate of the Institute of Finance and Statistics at Central School of Planning and Statistics (now Warsaw School of Economics) and professor at Warsaw School of Economics. He started working at Warsaw School of Economics after graduating in 1971. He used to be a member of supervisory boards in many financial institutions. He has written over 250 scientific publications. Member of Committee of Financial Sciences of the Polish Academy of Science (2007-2010). Member of many program councils in specialist periodicals about finances and commercial activities, co-author of academic portal “Poland and the integrating financial market in the European Union”. Scientific Secretary in ALTERUM Centre for Research and Analysis of Financial System.
Michał Polasik, PhD, Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun
Born in 1977. Graduate of Faculty of Economic Sciences and Management at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun .Doctor of economic sciences. Since 2008 he owns research and consulting company Polasik Research. He has written tens of scientific publication on electronic banking and retail payments. He has presented the results of his research on the most prestigious international conferences related to this subject. In the area of payment systems he has managed research project commissioned by the Payment Systems Department of the National Bank of Poland and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

Autor kilkudziesięciu publikacji oraz analiz prawnych z zakresu prawa elektronicznych instrumentów płatniczych, prelegent na wielu konferencjach i seminariach z tego zakresu (polsko-, angielsko- i niemieckojęzycznych).
Krzysztof Piech, PhD
Assistant Professor at the Institute of Political Economy, Law and Economic Policy – Warsaw School of Economics, President of the Knowledge & Innovation Institute, Warsaw. Member of the Polish Bitcoin Association, Polish Economic Society, British Alumni Society, former member of the Council of Young Scientists (Ministry of Science and Higher Education). Expert of different ministries, central offices and regional authorities. He specializes in crises, the knowledge economy and innovation, the Japanese economy especially from the point of view of the role of government. Builds and use econometric models for the purpose of macro-economic, regional and financial markets forecasting. He was the first economist in CEECs who predicted the recent financial crisis. Scientific editor of over 30 books, including several issued in the UK; author of several scientific articles primarily in the field of economics, innovation and higher education. Coordinator of a series of bitcoin seminars in Warsaw.
Doctor of Science. 1991-2012 he has been the President and General Manager of Instytut Badania Opinii i Rynku Pentor ( Since 2005 Pentor Research International). Author of many publications of public surveys, social attitudes towards the transformation and privatization., financial behaviours of Poles and the condition of financial service market in Poland. A member of the Prime Minister’s Statistics Board.
Jerzy Świtek, PhD, MSC in IT, MBA
He is a business development expert in the digital financial services and payment systems. He has a background in systems integration, strategic management, business development and business process restructuring for technology and services companies operating in the highly competitive environment. He worked on important/strategic assignments for companies/organizations such as TSYS, Global Payments, Gtech/PolCard (now First Data), Gtech VIA/Billbird, Lockheed Martin, Elkart, Bank Technology Forum Executive Committee, Sygnity.
